We joined AMD to film the company’s world record attempt (and victory) with the new AMD Ryzen 9 7950X CPU vs. the Intel Core i9-12900K. This was the first public attempt AMD made at extreme overclocking on Zen 4 hardware, which looks like it’ll be a lot of fun to work with for enthusiasts who enjoy overclocking of all kinds (air, water, and liquid nitrogen). GN got approval to publish this ahead of the impending launch as a behind-the-scenes look at what to expect for XOC on AM5.
