There is more TV these days than ever before. That’s not an exaggeration, or a complaint — just a fact! And indeed, having so much original programming to pore over these days means that there are also a ton of great shows out there too.
All of which is to say, we had a tough time narrowing down our list of nominees for the best TV show of 2022, but we think the titles here are all quality choices. From the most adult Star Wars show yet (Andor) to the finale of Saul Goodman’s story (Better Call Saul) to the Innies and Outies of Severance, the ktichen drama of The Bear, and the fantastical theatrics of House of the Dragon, these are our picks for the finest of the year.
