How Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s ‘The Last Chapter’ Update Sets up Mirage

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla released all the way back in Fall of 2020 and has consistently received a slew of updates and DLC. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s final update is here, fittingly named “The Last Chapter”,  and is meant to finally sunset Eivor’s long-running story – but it actually does a bit more than that. We all know the next Assassin’s Creed game is coming in 2023, titled “Assassin’s Creed Mirage”, and it appears that The Last Chapter DLC further ties the two games together. Watch the video to find out how, but beware, it will fully spoil the ending of The Last Chapter, and Valhalla’s main story as well.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla released all The way back in Fall of 2020 and has Received a steady flow of DLC and Updates AC valhalla's final update is Here fittingly named the last chapter And is meant to finally Sunset avor's Long-running story but it actually does A bit more than that We all know the next Assassin's Creed Game is coming in 2023 titled Assassin's Creed Mirage and it appears that the Last chapter DLC further ties the two Games together at the end of the DLC After modern day Bassam relives the Final major events of avor's life he Finally meets William Miles within the Animus they discussed the state of the Assassins and how basem needs to help Them rebuild they agree tentatively to Work together however William makes one Request of bassim a vial of his blood Outside of the Animus Bassam submits a Blood sample for William miles to use This undoubtedly is how bassam's Memories are accessed for the main plot Of Assassin's Creed Mirage but aside From that we get one final very Interesting scene stepping outside of His Log Cabin Bassam sees a vision of Odin and avor speaking of the solar Flare this seems to confirm that Bassam's time in egdrasil and the Animus Has caused him to suffer from the Bleeding effect similar to Desmond miles

As the only known sage in the modern Story Bassam is positioned to be the Major character in The Assassin's Creed Franchise going forward the fact that he Is now suffering from the bleeding Effect having his memories explored in The next title and receiving a new role In the assassins all but confirms it However this still leaves the question As to why William Miles wants to relive Bassam's memories we'll just have to Wait until Assassin's Creed Mirage to Hopefully get the answer to that Question for more on the future of Assassin's Creed why not check out the Trailers for some of the announced Assassin's Creed games including Mirage Project hex and codename red and of Course for everything else video games Stick with IGN
