Directed by Juame Collet-Setta, Black Adam is a major lynchpin in DCEU lore now, as it’s tangentially connected to the Justice League characters, The Suicide Squad and the Shazam family of characters. Warner Brothers also unveiled a new big-screen superteam with the Justice Society of America, starring Hawkman (Aldis Hodge), Doctor Fate (Pierce Brosnan), Atom Smasher (Noah Centineo), and Cyclone (Quintessa Swindel). Djimon Hounsou makes an appearance as the wizard Shazam and Viola Davis and Jennifer Holland appear as Amanda Waller and Emilia Harcourt from Suicide Squad.
